Hillary Ronen is a former elected official, non-profit attorney, and movement organizer with over two decades of experience advancing economic, social, and racial justice. Elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 2016, she served two terms, holding key leadership roles as Chair of the Budget, Public Safety, Rules, Education, and Homelessness committees. She also represented San Francisco on regional bodies including the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. Prior to public office, Hillary directed the Workers’ Rights Unit at La Raza Centro Legal, providing legal representation and policy advocacy for low-income Latino immigrant communities. Today, she consults with non-profits to help communities and local governments address the risks and impacts of rapid AI integration. Hillary earned a Juris Doctorate degree from University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego.
