Aya Ibrahim is a strategist and policy expert recognized for her leadership at the intersection of technology, economy, and national security.

She previously served as a Senior Advisor on the Secretary of State’s Policy Planning Staff, the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy, and on the National Economic Council where she led on the President’s Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights and the Digital Assets Executive Order. Prior to the White House, Aya was Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley’s Senior Economic Advisor, overseeing her Financial Services Committee portfolio and technology and civil liberties agenda.

Aya is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and was most recently a Visiting Fellow at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.

Aya is a graduate of Swarthmore College, where she received her B.A. in Political Science and Religion. She is fluent in Arabic and Spanish.
