Leevi Saari

Leevi Saari works in the intersection of international political economy, AI governance and European politics. He is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam researching the way contemporary AI governance initiatives approach AI shape and limit the potential politics of technology. Before his PhD, he served as an accredited policy advisor in the European Parliament with key responsibilities in regulation initiatives on artificial intelligence, data and platform economy. Prior to the European Parliament, he worked for Universities of Oxford, Tampere and Helsinki as well as Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Leevi grew up in Helsinki, Finland.
