Ben Winters focuses on AI and automated decision-making applications that disproportionately affects marginalized communities. Ben is Senior Counsel at the Electronic Privacy Information Center and teaches Technology Policy at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. Ben's writing has been published in journals such as Georgetown National Security Law & Policy and University of New Hampshire IDEA. and his work has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, the Associated Press, and WIRED among others. He is a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was Editor-In-Chief of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice. He holds a B.S. in Communication Studies from SUNY Oneonta. He is a member of the bar of D.C. and New York State.
