Adora Svitak is a PhD candidate in the joint program in Sociology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Yale University. She is interested in work, technology, and intimate life, particularly what we can learn about justice and social structures from romantic relationship norms. Prior to Yale, she worked in communications at the Wikimedia Foundation, where she led campaigns to increase the presence of women and other underrepresented groups on Wikipedia. She received her B.A. (majoring in Development Studies and minoring in South Asian Studies and Creative Writing) from UC Berkeley.
