Mehtab Khan

Visiting Policy Fellow

Mehtab Khan’s scholarship intersects intellectual property, platform governance, and artificial intelligence. As a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University, she is currently working on the regulation of open AI models, and the role of courts in shaping AI governance proposals. Mehtab Khan was previously a Resident Fellow at the Information Society Project at Yale Law School. At Yale, she was also the Program Director for the Yale/Wikimedia Initiative on Intermediaries and Information. Prior to academia, she practiced as an attorney in the United States, Malaysia, and Pakistan. She holds an LLM and JSD from University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
