Elizabeth Kaziunas

Elizabeth Kaziunas is an Assistant Professor of Informatics at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington, where she teaches in the school’s HCI/d program. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at AI Now Institute and served as the program lead for the Algorithmic Care Project, a sociotechnical study on the use of AI technologies in healthcare. Dr. Kaziunas’ research contributes to the fields of human-computer interaction (HCI), computer-supported cooperative work (CSCW), and health informatics by examining the social and organizational contexts of health information systems and lived experiences of health datafication. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of Michigan's School of Information.
