Luke manages editing, research, and writing projects for the AI Now Institute.
Luke joins AI Now after earning an MPA from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, where he specialized in economics, public policy, and writing. While at Princeton, he co-founded the Woo Writers’ Collective, a graduate student creative writing group, and worked as a Summer Associate for Omidyar Network. He previously worked in the Global Policy Group at MIT’s Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), where he translated poverty research into actionable policy recommendations for governments, impact investors, and nonprofits. Prior to that, he spent a year working for Hotel Con Corazón in Nicaragua, and began his career in environmental consulting at Industrial Economics, Incorporated. He holds a BA in economics, magna cum laude from Bates College.
